Description:
I am the Founder and Executive Director of a grassroots organization that advocates for current and former students buried under mounds of intractable student loan debt. The Facebook group that I founded has nearly 300,000 members which has lead to dozens of national and international media outlets to write or produce stories about my efforts, all of which are based on a simple idea I came up with that clearly struck a chord with many middle class Americans from all walks of life.

I will also be featured in an upcoming documentary entitled "Default: The Student Loan Documentary." Because of my superior writing abilities and fresh insights into politics, pop culture and media, I was asked to author a guest columnist piece for the New York Times in June of 2009 (link to which can be found by following the publicity link above).

I am now ready to move on to my next venture. I am currently mid-way through writing a book about politics in 2010 and I enjoy a respectable following on Facebook wherein I have over 3600 "fans" who follow me every day, in addition to the 300,000 members of the student loan group I founded.

All of that is background to my current project for which I am seeking an investment of approximately $50,000-$100,000.

My hope is to build a website that attracts folks from across the political spectrum to discuss novel ideas and fresh approaches to governing. I also want it to be a place for people to discuss the issues, news and pop culture stories of the day. Because of my background as an attorney, entrepreneur, political commentator and grassroots leader, I believe I am uniquely qualified to make this endeavor a true success.
